BIRD PLATE · MARIE-YAÉ SUEMATSU 17 cm ø
A distinctive ceramic plate handmade in Paris by artist and illustrator Marie-Yaé Suematsu. A large white bird takes centre stage, framed by warm terracotta tones and a rhythmic border of deep, dark dots.
The bold composition, fluid enamel glaze and subtle irregularities give the plate its expressive character, bringing drawing and ceramics together in Marie-Yaé’s distinctive visual language. Both functional and decorative, it is a one-of-a-kind collector’s piece.
