BIRD PLATE · MARIE-YAÉ SUEMATSU 14 cm ø
An expressive ceramic plate handmade in Paris by artist and illustrator Marie-Yaé Suematsu. A white bird emerges from a composition of warm terracotta red, muted green and earthy tones, with freely painted forms flowing around the edge of the plate.
The spontaneous lines and painterly enamel glaze give the piece a lively, almost abstract quality. Both functional and decorative, it is a distinctive one-of-a-kind collector’s piece.
