BIRD PLATE · MARIE-YAÉ SUEMATSU 17 cm ø
An expressive ceramic plate handmade in Paris by artist and illustrator Marie-Yaé Suematsu. A stylised bird appears between flowing bands of green, blue and earthy tones, creating an almost abstract composition.
The fluid enamel glaze, painterly lines and subtle irregularities give the piece its distinctive character, bringing drawing and ceramics together in Marie-Yaé’s playful visual language.
Both functional and decorative, each plate is a one-of-a-kind collector’s piece.
